and Pre-engineered
Steel
Trapper
Brown Corporation usually recommends the use of
pre-engineered steel for the basic structural
system. Because it is pre-engineered the cost is
shared by others. All structural loading is
supported by the primary framework; thus,
structural columns are the only member that require
piers and footings. Without load-bearing walls,
alterations to meet changing needs are relatively
easy to make.
Durable,
factory applied exterior color finishes require
minimum maintenance. Insulated steel walls and
roofs offer 3 to 4 times the heat retaining value
of insulated concrete block and in addition, the
initial cost of heating equipment is
reduced.
Trapper
Brown buildings enjoy an excellent rating with
financial institutions. Better designed and
requiring less maintenance, they represent an
excellent long term investment.
By
completing as much work as possible in a controlled
factory environment, by taking advantage of current
Design Build techniques and industrial technology,
and by making effective use of computers for design
and engineering applications, we are able to
provide a product of high quality and performance,
at the lowest possible cost.
As
general contractors we have the ability, with our
own forces, to perform site, foundation, steel
erection, and carpentry. Special areas of
construction are handled by qualified
subcontractors. Skilled tradesmen, specially
equipped for "systems" construction, are able to
work efficiently anywhere in Northern New
England.
